LEVIATHAN

Sexual and Adult Content Policy

Part of the Terms of Use and the Community Guidelines. Last updated: October 28, 2026

LEVIATHAN is an app for adults who want to meet, flirt and, if both want it, share intimacy. Sexuality between consenting adults has a place here; exploitation, abuse and exposing other people do not. This policy explains what is allowed, in which part of the app and under which conditions. It complements the Community Guidelines, which apply at all times.

In short: only people aged 18 or older, only your own content, only with the consent of whoever receives it, and always with the option to take it back. Explicit content never goes on the public profile, and nothing sexual is bought or sold on LEVIATHAN.

Principles

What is allowed and where

Profile
Many people see your profile, so it only accepts suggestive or implicit content: no nudity and no visible sexual acts. Suggestive photos are shown blurred to anyone who has not yet matched with you and only appear clearly after a match. Do not include contact details or social handles to move off the app.
Vault
Your private space for your own intimate content, including explicit content. No one sees it unless you authorize them, and you can revoke access whenever you want. Whatever you share from the vault is shown blurred until the other person chooses to view it.
Chat
Only with people you have matched with. Explicit content is delivered only if the other person has agreed to receive it in that conversation; if they have not, it is not shown to them. Anyone who receives private content may not save, capture, forward or publish it.
Calls
Voice and video calls follow the same rules: only between people who have matched, only with consent, and without recording or capturing the other person.

What is never allowed

The following conduct leads to permanent removal of the account and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities, anywhere in the app:

Consent can be withdrawn

A match, an earlier conversation or content you already shared does not oblige you to anything more. At any time you can revoke access to your vault, stop receiving explicit content in a chat, unmatch or block the person. When you revoke access to your vault, the other person can no longer see it in the app. If someone kept or spread your content outside the app, follow our intimate content removal process; you do not need an account.

How to report

  1. From the profile, chat or call, tap Report and choose the reason. The other person will not know you reported them. Blocking and reporting are free in every membership.
  2. If your own intimate content was posted without your consent, use the non-consensual intimate content form.
  3. For any other safety matter, use the safety form. If you are in danger, call your local emergency services first.

A team reviews reports and handles first those involving minors, non-consensual intimate content, threats and exploitation. False reports, or reports made to harass someone, are also a violation.

Penalties and appeals

Depending on severity and repetition, we apply: a warning, removal of the content, limits on features (for example, the vault or sending content in chat), temporary suspension or permanent removal. For conduct that is never allowed, we remove the account without prior notice, keep the evidence and hand it to the authorities when the law requires or permits it.

If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal within 6 months using the appeal form. A member of the team reviews your case and lets you know the outcome.
