Safety tips
Most of the people you will meet are looking for the same thing as you. Even so, it is wise to look after yourself. LEVIATHAN does not check criminal records and no verification guarantees someone’s intentions.

Inside the app
- Keep the conversation on LEVIATHAN until you feel confident. There you can report and block.
- Do not share your address, your workplace, your routines or your bank details.
- Make a video call before meeting in person: confirm that they are who they say they are.
- Be wary of anyone who avoids showing themselves, changes their story or wants to leave the app quickly.
Signs of a scam
- They ask you for money, gifts, cryptocurrency or “help” with an emergency.
- They propose investments or business deals.
- They send you links to “verify yourself” on another site.
If this happens, do not send anything and report it. No one from LEVIATHAN will ask you for your password, access codes or payments by chat or by transfer.
Intimate content
Share intimate content only if you want to and with someone you trust; once it is sent, you lose control over it. If someone threatens to spread your images or asks you for money not to do so: do not pay, do not delete the conversation, report it and go to the authorities. Spreading intimate content without consent is a crime in Mexico and in the other countries where we operate.
On the first date
- Choose a busy public place and get there on your own.
- Tell someone you trust who you will be with, where and at what time; share your real-time location if you can.
- Watch your drink and your belongings.
- If something does not feel right, leave. You do not owe anyone anything.
