Delete your account
From the app
It is the fastest way and you do not need to write to anyone.
- Open LEVIATHAN and sign in.
- Go to Account and data.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Type ELIMINAR (Spanish for “delete”), or the confirmation word the app shows you, to confirm.
The deletion happens at that moment and cannot be undone.
If you have a subscription, cancel it first on Google Play or the App Store: deleting the account or the app does not stop the store’s charges. You can see how in cancel or withdraw.
If you no longer have the app or your account is suspended
Use the form to delete your account and provide the email address you signed up with. You will receive a reference number. We may ask you to confirm that you are the account holder before deleting it.
What is deleted
- Your profile, photos, videos and audio.
- Your messages, matches and reactions.
- Your location, settings, blocks and registered devices.
- Your access: you will no longer be able to sign in with that account.
What is kept
We keep some records, mostly without your identity, only for the periods and purposes set out in the privacy notice:
- Billing and purchases, for accounting obligations.
- Safety and moderation reports, to protect other people.
- Evidence of your acceptance of the terms and of your consents.
- If you were banned, an encrypted fingerprint of your email, phone number or device to prevent you from signing up again.
- A technical record that the deletion took place, without readable personal data.
In addition, when the law requires it, we keep the following with restricted access, even if you delete your account: the information an authority asked us to preserve, for the period it specifies; evidence of reported child sexual abuse material, for 1 year; the records of requests to remove intimate content, to show that we handled them; and, if you use LEVIATHAN from Brazil, your application access logs for 6 months.
The retention periods are in the privacy notice.
